What have you been cooking recently? It's probably been a while for most of us to be preparing 2-3 meals a day, all coffees and snacks per day at home... alone or with others you are self isolating with. ... As the days pass, I"m enjoying it more. It's interesting watching a variety of innovative FB community cooking groups form sharing recipes, videos and photos of their culinary home made creations. I use fresh and frozen ingredients and try to load up each dish with lots of veggies and healthy protein. (Yes, carbs are still king) Food distribution has shifted with less movement foodservice and more grocery/ retail...but boy, raise your hand if you are not so excited about once again supporting your local coffee shop, pub restaurant, pop up, farmers market - any foodservice establishment that is currently closed or shifted to take out/curbside pick up. Thank you ALL who continue to keep your business going for those in need, those who simply don't like to cook and when you want a break from meal planning, prep and clean up.
