Thank You to everyone for all your likes and positive comments, and I must send a huge shout out to my sister and brother-in-law for their assistance and sharing the page with many many people. For everyone who was born and raised in Windsor and/or is proud to be a Windsorite, and think that the Windsor drawing "Building a city" would make a great addition hanging at a your home bar, home office, den, man cave, living room, or for businesses in your office reception area, lo...unge, conference room etc.. I will soon have the piece available for purchase. They will be high quality print reproductions from the original piece available with 3 options: A choice of approx 3 pre-framed ready-to-hang selections, non-framed prints where you choose your own frame, or a just the solo print all shipped right to your door. I'll keep everyone posted once I have all the details ready to go. Size of the piece is 24"x36". Thanks!!!! See more

I was inspired to create a piece about Windsor after seeing a great drawing from French artist Pierre-Yves Riveau. He created a drawing of NYC in the shape of an apple core and I thought it was a great creative idea. I wanted to represent the main energy/vibe of Windsor, what makes it unique compared to other cities, and my own interpretation. Since Windsor is very industrial with many plants (Ford, Chrysler, etc.) and factory/tool and die shops, I chose to layout the map of the city to look like a factory floor with the segments highlighting areas of a factory and life in Windsor, the main industries of the city including the Casino, Border, Hiram Walker, Ford, Chrysler, Salt Mine, and others. The idea being that Windsor was built from industrial roots and the workers are constructing the city.
