ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT Mark your calendars, folks - the long-awaited 2020 album, "Conduct Becoming 2020: Take Me East" will be out on Bandcamp this Friday, August 28th! Other streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes will follow soon, and we’ll post updates on those soon!... In the meantime, we’ll also be posting some videos from a few of our artists who wanted a chance to play their song live, since we weren’t able to do our in-person launch this year. So get ready for the Bandcamp release, and stay tuned for some videos!

CD PRE-ORDER FORM We’ve been in touch with our CD manufacturer, and they’re still very much on board! So, if you’d like a CD, you can fill out the form posted below (at the bottom of this post) and place your order.... Things will be working a little differently this year with respect to payment - once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a request for an e-Transfer by our VP Finance and Operations, and you can place your payment that way. Shaina will deposit the funds into our account that we hold at Mount Allison, and they’ll be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society after all payments are collected. The timeline for CD delivery is up in the air, since our design process has been interrupted a little by recent events, but we’ll keep you updated at every step of the way, and we won’t request payment until the CDs have arrived. LIFE UPDATE FROM CONDUCT BECOMING Hey everyone, A lot’s been going on lately - we’ve done a show at Joey’s, played the Luminary ceremony at Mt A’s Relay for Life, and hosted our last Open Mic of the year at Ducky’s last Thursday! ... Aaaaaaaand then the semester ended abruptly, due to public health concerns about the spread of COVID-19. We on Conduct Becoming understand, respect, and support Mt A’s decision to suspend in-person classes, cancel all events, and close campus buildings. These events, of course, also bring changes for Conduct Becoming this year. First, we will not be having a live album launch this year. In past years, we’ve launched the album live at Ducky’s, and performed the tracklist in order with a full backing band, but that won’t be possible this year. But, don’t worry - we’re working on a way to get some performances to you another way! Second, the schedule for online album launch has been pushed back a little, since we no longer have access to a recording space, and since some of us are headed back to our hometowns for the remainder of the semester. For now, we’re working on finishing up tracks with what we have at our disposal, but things might take a little longer than anticipated. Album design has also been delayed because access to design software has been limited by the campus closure. Even though these changes are happening, we know some things for sure: The album will still be released on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and all other streaming services. We’re working on a way to get CDs to you and we’ll keep you all updated on that process. We’ve got an amazing album lined up for you, And you deserve to hear it, any way we can get it out to you! Thanks to you all for your support this year, and thanks for your patience in this complex situation. We’re so proud of all the hard work we’ve put in this year, and we promise to get an absolute killer bunch of tunes out to you, in any way we can!
