CIBC Confed Centre presents 'Feelin’ Mighty Proud!,' a broadcast special celebrating the legacy of Anne of Green Gables on Prince Edward Island. This Island-wide production weaves highlights from the iconic 'Anne of Green GablesThe Musical' with a summertime journey across the Island, stopping at key destinations that focus on the works of L.M. Montgomery. Directed by Adam Brazier with Jason Rogerson, this new production is rich with special appearances from such luminarie...s as Anne with an E's Amybeth McNulty and RH Thompson; 'Anne of Green GablesThe Musical' cast alumni Gracie Finley, Glenda Landry, Hank Stinson, Marlane O’Brien, and Catherine O’Brien; and current ‘Anne’ with The Charlottetown Festival, Emma Rudy. New original interpretations of the famed musical's songs include: ‘Gee I’m Glad I’m No One Else But Me’ from Meaghan Blanchard (on location in iconic Green Gables house in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island) ‘If it Hadn’t Been for Me’ by Vishtèn ‘The Words’ by Lennie Gallant ‘Kindred Spirits’ from Ava & Lily Rashed ‘Open the Window’ from I and the Village 'Anne of Green Gables' from The Charlottetown Festival company members and The Charlottetown Festival Orchestra Feelin’ Mighty Proud! is presented by Confederation Centre of the Arts, and is made possible due to the generous support of Canadian Heritage, the Prince Edward Island Government, Title Sponsor CIBC, and Production Sponsor CAA Atlantic.
