Dont forget to take time for yourself, to continue your education, and to have fun while doing it all - especially on May 9th, which has been proclaimed as Early Childhood Educator Day. Have you heard of this before? We brought our son to be tested for ADHD this summer. He was fidgety, found it hard to sit still in school, had low concentratio...n and was very impulsive. In other words, all completely normal symptoms of a 5-year-old boy. But I wanted to be sure so that I could give the best and most appropriate response to help him be his best self. Also, I am a complete overreacter. To my surprise, the therapist explained that he did not have ADHD...[what he had] was a really common issue that is often misdiagnosed as ADHD.
