Hi Kootenay friends! This Monday, February 8 will be our first Food Drop at Taghum Hall! That means you will be able to purchase products from our website and we will deliver them to the hall for you to pick up and enjoy We've been working hard all winter to come up with a variety of Bake-at-Home and frozen products for you to prepare or re-heat in your own kitchen- meaning your family gets to enjoy hot, delicious, fresh from the oven breads and baked goods without the mess...! We source local, organic ingredients as much as possible and mill all of our flour fresh with our stone mill. This week we have 3 flavours of Bake-at-Home cookies, frozen Heritage Dinner Rolls, and frozen Sourdough Waffles. Less than a year ago we were dreaming of our forever home in the Kootenays. Now, thanks to an amazing land matching program through the Young Agrarians, our wildest dreams have come true! We have lived on the farm in Passmore for a little over a month now and we couldn’t be happier...; Judi and Alex have welcomed us into their beautiful family and the farm is beyond magical. Now that it's winter and we farmers have more time to cook, Nathan and I have been really spoiling ourselves! We often keep it very simple, like a hearty soup with heritage dinner rolls, but the quality of the fresh local ingredients makes the food taste amazing. And yes, we're still eating almost 100 % local at this time of year and you can too!
