Henry Verner Wulff September 26, 1930 November 14, 2020 It is with great sadness, yet gratitude, for a long, rewarding life, that the family announces the death of Henry Verner Wulff in the early hours of November 14, 2020 at the Wynyard Hospital. Henry was the second youngest child of Barbara and Paul Wulff. He was born of September 26, 1930, attended Raymore School, and later became a full-time farmer. Uncle Henry loved our family gatherings and often enjoyed a rousing ga...me of cards. He was keenly interested in politics and was truly in his element in the middle of a political debate. Henry was also a faithful coffee row attendee where the problems of the world were often resolved. Watching curling on TV and playing crib were some of his favourite pastimes. His little dog was his constant companion and the two were rarely seen apart. However, Henry’s great passion in life was farming and all the things pertaining to it. He had a strong connection to the land that he worked and the history that helped shape his community. Henry is survived by his Nieces: Shirley (Skip) Duford, Glenda (Leon) Jacobs, Jennifer (Dennis) Stanley; Nephews: Verne (Rita) Thorner, Lyle Thorner, Garth (Denise) Thoner, Darryl (Joy) Bowman; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his parents Barbara and Paul Wulff; Siblings: Hilda Bowman, Erna Wulff, Chris Wulff, and Ernest Wulff; sister-in-law Joyce Wulff; and niece-in-law Debbie Thoner. Uncle Henry was a quiet, thoughtful individual who maintained an intense interest in current events and was always up for a spirited discussion concerning these events. He treasured his visits with friends and relatives and will be remembered for his quiet wit and humour. Many thanks to the Home Care workers who cared and looked after Uncle Henry so well in his final months. A celebration for his life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Quinton Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Raymore, Fort Qu’Appelle, Wynyard, and Wolseley SK. 306-746-1000. See more

Alvin (Beno) Paquin 1957 - 2020 We are very saddened to have to announce the passing of Beno on Monday, November 16th at the age of 63 years. After overcoming cancer in 2005 and 2009, he was fortunate to be in remission for 10 years before the cancer returned in 2019. He fought with great strength and determination. Beno spent his whole life in Fort Qu’Appelle. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and trapper. It brought him great joy to take his family on their annual summe...r fishing trips to Besnard Lake. Throughout the years he participated in and won many competitive walleye fishing touraments. Being able to have his children as his fishing partners was always his greatest win. In his younger days, he played fastball with Fort Sports and was a goalie in his minor hockey days. When the chance came around he never turned down a friendly game of cards. He was quick-witted and had an infectious laugh that we will never forget. His loyal canine friend, Sada, never left his side. Beno was predeceased by his parents Henry and Jean, brothers Dave (Gale) and Albert, brother in law Don Robertson, special niece Corinna Thompson, mother and father-in-law Olga and Otto Senger, brother-in-law Harvey (Barb) Senger. Survived by his loving wife Glenda, son Brett (Erin), daughter Dayna, sisters Collette Robertson and Linda (Dave) Morgan, brothers Hank (Shirley) and Terry (Barb), sisters-in-law Marilyn Paquin, Coreen (Gord) Gerrard, special nephew Doug Paquin, and many nieces and nephews that he cherished. Thank you to the staff at Allan Blair Cancer Center, Palliative home care nurses, and the loving care the family received from the staff at the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle. Family and friends wishing to make donations in memory of Beno can do so to All Nations Healing Hospital, Canadian Blood Services, or Allan Blair Cancer Center.
