IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET THAT THE CM2020 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT WE MUST CANCEL THE CM2020 CONFERENCE. Amid concerns of containing the spread of COVID-19, we have been advised by our institution that gatherings of more than 50 people are not permitted on campus. Further, Health Canada has advised that travel to Canada has been restricted, limiting options for many of our conference attendees and for our keynote speaker. We are greatly saddened by this news ...- but respect and recognize the importance of doing what is best for the health and safety of students, our community, and the citizens of our planet. The good news is that our CM2020 speaker has agreed to present at a future CM event, and so we are breaking with our biennial tradition to launch CM2021! We will be in touch with our confirmed attendees with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, stay tuned, and we hope to see all of you at CM2021!

We want everyone to know that there are no plans at this time to cancel CM 2020 amid concerns of the spread of COVID-19. We are closely monitoring the situation and will act accordingly, when and if necessary, as advised by our institution and Canadian health officials. We appreciate the importance of balancing the safety of our conference attendees and the larger community with the prevention of widespread panic. So please stay tuned!
