We hope everyone is having the best holiday! We wanted to spice it up for you a bit so we are providing you the 12 days of fitmas. Just like the song suggest, perform each exercise in a ladder format. So 1 burpee, than 2 drop squats + 1 burpee. Then 3 pushups + 2 drop squats + 1 burpee. And so on. ... Some tips to help you stay fit over the holidays seeing CHRISTMAS is just 4 days away Holiday drinks, yikes! Be aware of what you’re actually consuming. Example I love rum & egg nog but one regular glass equates to about 700 calories (when you actually measure out portions) imagine having 3 everyday over the holidays and not knowing this, then wonder how you gained 5 pounds in a week for me I do 1/2 cup egg nog, 1 cup almond milk & 1.5oz spiced rum sprinkl...e of cinnamon & you’re golden it drops the calories more then half. Try to make smarter decisions like this! Reward yourself with enjoyable activities over food. Get outside for a walk, run, cross country ski, have fun doing outdoor activities make that a holiday tradition instead of the overconsumption of food. Buy yourself a great outfit that motivates you for the new year to stay active & keep the body & health that you want, a simple reminder of your priorities to yourself. 4. Be self aware & don’t let lazy people influence you with their bad decisions, you don’t need to ride along. Make a list for your day, exercise early in the day & get enough sleep! This will start your day off with success & control Indulge for the night, not a season! & work for it baby...... be happy to put the work in it’s all about your attitude! I find the all or nothing mindset doesn’t work, you have to indulge and enjoy but moderation is key, along with consistent workouts & discipline. To all of our valuable and loyal members As you already know gyms have been given the green light to open on November 14th but due to the extreme restrictions we will push ouropening date to November 16th. We believe that these restrictions are necessary however as we have 32,000 square feet to service you, we were generally categorized along with gyms many times smaller than ours which made little to no sense. We have been in discussions with our local MPP and ombudsman an...d we have received clarification on how we can efficiently and properly use our space. As such, please use the following link to book your time, date and section of the gym. https://booking.conquerfitness.ca Please note: *You can exercise for 55 minute intervals *The gym has been broken up into 4 quadrants:Cardio, Weight training upstairs, Free weight + squat room + bench press, Hammer strength downstairs *When booking you will have the choice to book a specific date, time and area of the gym. You must stay with in this designated area for your 55 minutes *Please book only one hour per day. If we do have other open slots and you wish to book again in the same day please notify us. *To ensure the next group can enter on time, please finish your workout on time and leave promptly *All bookings are on a first come first serve basis We realize that that this is not ideal and no one wants to be restricted via booking system nor into zones. We are doing our best to conform to the rules and ensure that we can maximize the usage of our space all while keeping our amazing members safe and healthy. Hello Conquer Family, As you may have seen today, the Toronto Government as well as the Ontario Provincial government have announced the closure of all indoor recreation facilities for Toronto, Peel and Ottawa including gym and fitness studios for a period of 28 days effective tomorrow Saturday October 10ththough it may be longer. All memberships will be paused indefinitely effectivetomorrow, Saturday, October 10th.... We will be contacting everyone about our online classes as well as our outdoor Track Sessions as well to keep everyone in tip top shape for when we open back up! Lets all stay strong together! We will get through this as a family.

Today’s power move: Wide grip pull upsOnce you master the chin up try working on the wide grip pull up, it’s way harder because you’re not using your biceps & chest as much on the pull. Targeting the lower trapezius, lats, thoracic erector, spinae, rhomboids, infraspinatus and teres minor, also a kick ass core work out This movement is very effective if you’re looking for a beefier looking back or a V taper, both are really great exercises I just prefer the pull up on b...ack days *Try using the weight assisted pull-up machine if you’re new to this exercise, or bands to assist the lift. Tips: -Y position with arms -Squeeze your glutes at the bottom to eliminate any swinging -I like trying to get my chin over the bar #goals
