I've know how problematic the "how" question is for quite some time. In particular without really investing in the "what." This article was interesting because it recognizes the abundance of potential that's available when we bring people together for something; in other words, asking "who" rather than "how." Do you see more and more of this? You can't do your project, change, movement, alone. You can't run a not-for-profit or for-profit alone. Who is a powerful question. What might it do for you to start thinking "who" rather than "how"? https://pxlme.me/WkWLvLAv
Coddiewomple: Travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination. Because isn't that what we're already doing anyway? Maybe without the purposeful part? Seriously though, what is the destination? Winning the game? A new software? A new house or car? A new relationships or a new habit? Is that really the destination? And then what? Another destination?... But travelling with purpose, gathering experiences, doing the doing... Isn't that what your stories will be about? https://pxlme.me/QtZN65jm
What's harder than a draft or plan gone wrong, or a shot that misses? Last week, spending some time with clients I mentioned that the hardest question to answer is "what do you want for lunch." Instead, ask people if they want to go for Mexican (or anything). Why? Because the blank space (insert whatever blank you want), is hard to respond to. Getting something on paper, getting a plan (it will be wrong), getting a draft (it will change), taking a shot (it may miss) getting something done creates something they and you can respond to. Staring at a blank page and letting your inner dialogue run rampant grows resistance. https://pxlme.me/kUAqS1SO
