Consciousness for Kids 27.03.2021

Introducing our next round of EPIC CFK facilitators! Rebecca Hanratty Rebecca is Certified Intuitive Life Coach, Sacred Sound Practitioner, Doula, Facili...tator and co-creator with the other world. Receiving guidance through the Divine as a clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient and empath she connects with the higher and elemental realms, including the Divine Spirit within each of us. Her work at Echo of Consciousness focuses on reconnecting and remembering our innate nature, the Divine nature, which connects us with All That Is. Our innate nature is creative and thereby opens us up to joyful, playful and expansive existence. Part of her work is identifying ego blocks, old programming and beliefs, soul retrieval, past life integration, releasing trauma and inner child work. She has a special connection with those gentle, highly sensitive and strong souls that are often our kids (our inner child too). She, and the realms she works with, are particularly interested in listening to the wisdom and ideas of children. Empowering them, supporting their freedom and sustaining an environment that encourages their heart song to be sung. It is this weaving and collaboration that is part of her life’s work. Program: Emotional Awareness, Mindfulness and Release through Meditation. How do we become aware of what emotions are ours, especially as kids? How do we release emotions as easily as they came in? How do we practice self-acceptance and non-judgment for the emotions that arise and maybe do hang out a little longer than we would prefer? Through curiosity we enter a state of awareness, checking in with ourselves. With the use of mindfulness we start to notice what sensations and feeling states are present. We look at what we think is happening and notice how what we think can either increase or decrease these sensations. From here we move into a guided meditation, a playful visualization of picking emotions and releasing them. This exercise becomes quite creative as we assign shapes, colors, and textures to these emotions, releasing them into the sky. We bring in elemental allies to show us how quickly and easily these emotions can be cleared. No emotion or sensation was seen as bad by these allies either. More like food they gobble up, like clearing a plate and we check in with how our bodies feel now. If we feel lighter, can breathe a bit easier, maybe feel a bit more relaxed and at ease. The overall practice brings present moment awareness to what emotions are coming up, the tools to release any feelings that are overwhelming and then finally a way to check in with what feeling clear is like. I'm so proud to introduce a few of our WORLD CLASS facilitators for our upcoming July program! More to come! Amal & Breanna ~ Arts of Compassionate Healing... Breanna and Amal are intuitive vibrational energy healers that combine their unique holistic healing modalities, along with their social work backgrounds to ignite the healer within each individual. They identify that unresolved emotional wounds remaining trapped in the body creates dis-ease. Together, they have a plethora of tools to help individuals re-write, re-program and re-wire the functioning of one’s cells, tissues and DNA for ultimate healing. Breanna and Amal’s personal healing journey has helped them to understand and acknowledge how to guide others in deep emotional healing that feels safe and achievable. They both believe and value in creating a sacred space for individual’s healing journey so that one can live in a constant state of unconditional love and joy. Program: Sound & Yoga Forest Adventure Let Amal and Breanna take you on a yoga journey through the forest as you move from one adventure to the next. Allow the beat of the drum, the sound of the chimes and rattle to take you to meet one of your animal helpers through your adventures in the forest! Duygu Nangir My name is Duygu, it means ‘deep emotions’ in Turkish. My mission is to facilitate an awareness around our emotions, move BIG emotions and integrate it into our lives. I’ve been a Child Therapist since 2010, trained in behaviour therapy working with children on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome and with learning or behavioural difficulties. My approach to therapy is naturalistic and organic, where learning is bidirectional (child to therapist, therapist to child) and through building a rapport and creating a platform to be at eye level with that child. I love working on expressing our true selves through art and creative expression. Working with some pretty awesome and powerful kids with some special abilities has taught me a lot about the importance of attending to our emotions, how to teach neurodiverse minds in creative, out-of-the-box ways and how our behaviours are a way we communicate, especially when speaking is difficult. In 2012, because of my own fascination, I incorporated mindfulness practices, crystals, yoga, energy work, grounding, earthing in nature and working with sound and frequency. I am an empath and highly sensitive person, which means I feel A LOT from all five of my senses, and also feel through extra-sensory abilities. These are feeling others emotional states, seeing visuals through my third eye and hearing other’s potentials, their lessons, their abilities and their blocks in their ascension. Lessons come to me quickly, metacognition is a norm for me and when I write, I can connect to Source and allow magic to flow through. Finally, my creativity is one of my most favourite abilities to use everyday. Program: Connecting with Emotions We’re going to be learning about our emotions and feelings, how our emotions are signs for us to pay attention to the messages coming up for us and how they naturally guide us, like a compass. We’ll be learning how to notice our emotions in our body and how our emotions present themselves in our thoughts and minds. Finally, when we connect our emotional body to our physical body to our mental body, we allow connection to our spiritual body, and THIS is where the magic begins. We’ll be exploring: Ways to listen and be in-tune with our emotions, how to talk about it with others and improve our communication abilities, how to ‘hold space’ for our own and other’s emotions along with strategies like breathing techniques, grounding/earthing practices and flowing with the energy of our emotions. Sarah Rainbow Heart Hawthorn I believe working with children is a co-creative experience involving active listening, creativity, humour, openness, honour and respect. Every child is unique and valuable. The natural world provides a learning rich foundation to enhance developmental skills and children’s inherent potential as growing citizens of the world. Our programming inspires curiosity, ignites passion and builds lifelong connections to nature through learning experiences. To be advocates for nature in the future children need to make these connections now! I am a mother, RECE. with a B.A in Early childhood studies and RYT with a focus in Kundalini Yoga. Program: Nature Connections Now more than ever we need to deepen our connection to the natural world; to listen, learn and ground into the earth. We invite children to connect to nature through their senses and inspire curiosity, wonder and imagination! This interactive class investigates nature mysteries in the world around us. Through storytelling, animal artifacts, live creatures, crafts and more participants will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of animals and environments. Summer Learning Topics: butterflies, bees, pollination, frogs, dragonflies, metamorphosis, beavers, snakes, pond environments. Nicole Rager Nicole is a Midwest native who has been interested in spirituality and emotional well-being since she was a child. This passion has led her to explore various self-healing/discovery modalities, including Transformational Breath, which she considers to be one of the ultimate tools for physical, emotional, and spiritual connection and transformation. Nicole has been sharing this work as a Certified Transformational Breath Facilitator and Trainer for the last decade with groups and individuals across the globe. The incredible relationship that each person has with their own breath, and the capacity and wisdom that they can connect to and awaken within themselves by using their breath in different ways, continues to inspire and amaze her with every session she gets to be a part of. Nicole will infuse her wisdom and lightheartedness into every class, while helping your child to feel the power, love, and beauty that they hold inside them all the time. Program: Transformational Breath Play! (Option for Parents & KIDS) Our breath helps to energize us, relax us, feel and release different emotions and connect more to our bodies, minds, and spirits. In this class, Nicole will lovingly and playfully guide your child (and you, too, if you want!) to do just that! Classes will involve music, sound, movement, sharing and of course, lots of fun breathing!
