Good day. It's February 12th, 2020. We'll kick start our retrofit program 2020 sometimes in May. Electrical issues were brought to my attention recently. For HRVs and crawlspace ventilation hook ups, We utilized the services of GPS Electrical, fully licensed. If we should come across an electrical problem (issue) with one of our audits. We would/ will inform Attawapiskat First Nation housing department. If you need more information, call 705 997 1164 or email us at [email protected]. Stay warm and safe.

Good day. It is August 20th, 2019. Our retrofit program will once again come to an end for this year. We will try to meet our target of retrofitting 9 units. The first two units set us back quite a bit. But we prefer doing the draft proofing right the first time. AFN housing department renovated these two Audits by installing windows at ATT00-0157 and ATT00-0158. ATT00-0158 was renovated by AFN housing department ( interior ). Electrical issues rectified. Blower door test rea...dings, condition of the audit: foundation, attic, hydro consumption ( how high your hydro bill), leakage, shingles and no standing water in the crawlspace. These are the factors that determine which units we will be retrofitting. I had an awesome crew again this year. Sheena Hookimaw- Foreperson Mary Anna Kebokee Preston Kebokee Sheldon Wesley Pauline Sutherland Attawapiskat First Nation Housing Department. Without the help from their construction crew and materials, we would be dead in the water. Attawapiskat Power Corporation. Advisory provided when it came to exterior Hydro issues, contacts, etc..
