Spring is coming and I’d like to give away this nature inspired pad and purse sized wet bag to a lucky supporter! To be eligible, please LIKE and SHARE this post. Due to FDA regulations, I am restricting this giveaway to CANADA only. Please COMMENT below with a Canadian joke or meme, to prove that you are indeed Canadian. I will draw for the prize when my page reaches 400 followers. Local pickup. Shipping costs to any long distance location in Canada will be paid by me. If you win, but the prize is not something you can personally use, I will ship it to a relative or friend in Canada, or I will donate it to Second Story Women’s Centre, on your behalf.

I’ve got some pretty Days for Girls style pads headed to Adsum House, as donations. Cloth pads provide a solution (for those who have the resources to wash them) month after month after month. And, they really help the environment. I had some help with these from a sister team. Women helping women!

HOW TO CARE FOR CLOTH PADS. Taking care of your cloth pads is super-easy! Store your soiled pads in a wet bag (a waterproof bag designed specifically for this purpose) or a lidded container. At the end of your cycle, toss your pads in the washer and wash in warm water with regular detergent, or mild detergent if you have sensitivities. You can then dry your pads in the dryer on the low setting, or hang them to air dry. That’s it! Your pads are clean and ready for your next cycle!
