Getting closer to my goals. This is a preview of my self balancing seated motorcycle themed concept prototype that is using a 48v/1kW system with a max speed of... 27mph and still a WIP. Things that will be changing are the handle bars will be reworked to be interchangeable styles or removed and receiver hole plugged. I have 2 designs of pedals I am replacing the pegs with. Working through a couple new systems for the build such as my auto signal system for brake/turn lights, and my auto kickstand. Designing/building a motorcycle style seat to match the body lines better. The Indian Scout inspired body will have a 2nd version with more shape on the sides as I am figuring out what is a comfortable width and a smaller headlight. I am currently in the process of finishing up bodywork on the HD Street Glide inspired body that makes use of bags for storage and a fully integrated water proof sound system as well. No physical buttons on the vehicle and all system controls are on a keyless FOB system. Bluetooth connection to smart devices for the HUD, BMS and the sound system. The systems and bodies are designed to be easy and fast to change for customization. The entire system is a modular design for ease of teardown and rebuild. The frame is designed to work with other setups given they fit frame and dropout parameters. The goal was to execute a classic look. I made use of a timeless design likeness and made sure to include chrome and wood accents. In this case it was redwood. I just finished up my 2nd version frame of this motorcycle themed seated EUC that is a 72v/5kW 30Ah 2160Wh system Hope you enjoy. Have a good one!
