We spent a bit of time getting to know Christine, our Front-end Developer. Christine, aka Steen, is one of the first people you will meet when you start with Context. She’ll set you up on all our systems and will tell you about one of her passions - #Accessibility! We asked her to tell us about herself and this is what she said: What's your favourite thing on your desk?... My laser cut wood coaster with the motif of Starfleet Command: United Federation of Planets, as seen on Star Trek. I have been a sci-fi/fantasy nerd since forever! What's on your monitor right now? The program Atom with an open HTML file for an email I am working on coding for cross-email-client deployment, for one of our clients What's your pet peeve? When people are both very late to an appointment or get-together AND they don't send an update by text/email/call so you know what's going on. What's your nickname at Context? Steen, because we have two Christines here at Context and this helps keep us separate (most of the time). If you weren't at Context - what would you rather be doing? Wandering through fields and forests (usually taking photos as I go) or working on a nature or fantasy themed ink and watercolour illustration for fun. One thing that you're obsessed about? Birds, I absolutely love all kinds of birds, and also I love nature in general. I know all sorts of random facts about nature and watch a lot of nature documentaries in my spare time when I can't be outside. One thing about Context you'd want the world to know? Everything we do is done with utmost thought, care and skill, with the goal of creating the best possible end result. See a younger version of Steen showing us her fishing skills!
