Even though incontinence is common after pregnancy and childbirth, it does NOT mean you have to live with it! Many women are surprised at how quickly they have healed from pain and incontinence after just a couple of appointments (myself included!). Contact your local Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to help get your body back

** EXPECTING & NURSING PARENTS!! ** As you may be aware, Fredericton (and all of New-Brunswick) has very few options for buying Maternity and Nursing clothing and accessories. To help solve this problem, we have created a local Buy & Sell group for Fredericton parents! BUT.... we need YOUR help to grow this group! Can you please help us by copying and posting this post on your newsfeed ? ... Thank you and Happy Shopping! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1432595340296491/?ref=share

Hi everyone! I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula in the Fredericton area. As most of you know the current Horizon Hospital restrictions only allow for one (1) support person in the delivery room while a patient is in labour and giving birth. With this restriction in place, a patient who hired a Doula for their birth, must choose between their partner (or other support person) and their Doula. The reason why I am writing this is because I am hoping some of you will join me in u...rging the NB government to change this restriction. As of June 23rd, Nova Scotia has allowed 2 support persons for patients in labour and giving birth. Many families in New Brunswick hope to see NB follow suit and allow 2 support persons with proper precautions, wether it be a Doula OR not Ready to help? PLEASE SHARE and email Dr. Jennifer Russel at [email protected] asking to have Doula's/ 2nd support person for these patients back in Hospital. She is the Chief Medical Officer of NB. Copy her secretary in the email: [email protected] Note: YES I understand why these measures were put into place, and I respected them. Doulas are willing and ready to do whatever it takes in terms of mask wearing, sanitizing etc to be able to be with clients

As a Doula who has supported a 29 week Preemie and his Mother through their Breastfeeding journey, I find this a very interesting read. Food for thought :)
