We are extremely gratified to have won the BCLC Technology Innovator Award at this year's Business Excellence Awards. Scorpion Technologies was pleased to be the primary sponsor for the Big Little Science Center's annual Fundraising Gala, which was held on November 2nd. The event was well attended, and featured a silent auction and a talk on AI. Scorpion is always happy to support the local STEM community.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a silent moment of remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace. By remembering all who have served, we recognize their willingly-endured hardships and fears, taken upon themselves so that we could live in peace. http://www.veterans.gc.ca//hi/a-day-of-remembrance/r_intro

On 16 October 2018, we will be celebrating the first ever World Restart a Heart (WRAH) initiative with events all around the world taking place on or around that date. In Canada, a cardiac arrest happens every 13 minutes. #WorldRestartAHeart day is a worldwide movement to save lives. Heart & Stroke’s hope is that all people in Canada learn how to help.
