Steven Conway for Local Councillor Ward 1, Clarington

Ottawa is under attack today... And I was going to get up on my soapbox this morning to talk about why I am the best candidate for Ward 1. Later, I guess... My thoughts and prayers go out to the soldier, our MP's and staffers in lock down, or in harm's way, and the citizens there. Kudo's to the police and Security for doing the jobs they do.

I have wanted to engage youth in politics, and I am proud that my son and his friends came out this weekend to participate in political action. They were a great help, delivering flyers door-to-door. Many thanks to my "adult" helpers as well. I couldn't have done it without you!

Thursday evening's debate was a great ice breaker... Thank you to those who attended, and a big thank you to those who applauded my answers and challenges concerning the incinerator, the MoE, and my demand of 'due diligence'!
