Happy Valentine’s Day!! (long post alert ) We hope you all take some time today to spend some time (together or virtually) with the ones you love. We are incredibly lucky to be surrounded with people we love and to watch their relationships grow. We’ve seen some of you come to Cookies when you first start dating, and now you’re bringing your children. We’ve served some of you as teens with your best friends, now you’re adults and still make Saturday brunch with your fri...ends a priority Being in Chilliwack for so long, we’ve had the amazing opportunity to watch your relationships grow, and have celebrated milestones along with you. - Of course it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day if we didn’t share some of our Cookies love stories Colleen + Colin (aka Cookies owners) These two met working in a kitchen! Colin used to leave flowers on Colleen’s door step and would write her little notes. Of course, he would cook dinner for her. Fast forward and they have an amazing daughter, Brittany, and an incredible granddaughter! - Brittany + Carson Carson and Brittany met through friends, it was the other way around with them. Brittany would leave him notes on his car and send flowers to his work until he got the hint and took her out for a romantic dinner in deep cove and then to see the Christmas light at the Capilano Suspension bridge. It was pouring rain and he was such a gentleman! He walked around to the passenger side door of his car and held his umbrella over Brittany while he got soaking wet. ...and the rest is history now both couples work at Cookies together as a fam jam

This review has us laughing out loud because we've all been there! "Stomach = too much carbs" Read below! "Who says perogies can’t be a breakfast food?? I was back in my hometown for a week-long break and stopped by a classic @cookies_grill for some brunch!... I ignored my usual order and decided to try something new so I got the Ploughman Breakfast (16.95) that came with 4 deliciously pan-fried perogies, grilled farmer sausage, eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast AND Waffle Sticks I left extremely stuffed with lots of leftovers and a little bit of a food belly... the perogies had a good serving of caramelized onions on top with a nice side of sour cream (although I eat them with ketchup ) The hash browns come either shredded or cubed, I prefer cubed because I like the satisfaction of crunchy skin but mashed insides Overall it was a really nice meal with great service as usual, I probably wouldn’t get this again as it’s carb overload but it was worth the try...
