Hello dads...Happy Father's Day. And I mean ...all you dads...and father figures. I hope you have a great day.... One of my favourite fathers is my darling husband aka Mr. Pia. As I write this, he is playing LEGO with our grandchildren...as both say...granpin is the best. We also celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary last Tuesday. We celebrated at the wonderful Mrs. Mitchell's restaurant. In the magical gardens...social distanced and safe. Heidi delivered as usual, a wonderful meal and a wonderful atmosphere. Hello friends, long time no talk...it is weird, I am cooking every day, but so boring..nothing special to write about, just trying to cook as healthy as possible and trying to be as active as possible, although I enjoy this calmer version of my life for now. And that I can say, because I am a privileged white person. You will now say, oh no, not her, too?... I cannot stay quiet, when the world around me is hurting, when people around me are hurting. I feel for the black community, and somehow, I know how they feel. By all means, I have never been in a situation, where I was in danger, because of my heritage, but I was treated poorly, called names, put in a box because I am German. When I went to school in France, I said I am Swedish, Danish or Norwegian ...because the French really disliked, or hated Germans and one was treated poorly because of that. I can only imagine the fear, black people have to go through and that is not ok. It never was ok and never will be. Black lives matter and we are now concentrating on them, because they are hurting and it must stop. Bigotry...going to church, praying to Jesus and then hurting black people, calling them names and even worse...is disgusting. I will do anything I can to show my support. And I hope and pray, that maybe now, everybody will see how bad it really is and hopefully, this will stop. Please, dear friends, do the same. Thank you , thank you.
