Cool Coderz Camp

Just crashed the party with France Collin and her coding level 1 group. Awesome work by everyone! Thanks guys for letting me see your projects and sharing with me all the cool ideas you are working on making real in Scratch. You inspired me! I can't believe you are all new to coding. Amazing! Turning 49 doesn't happen every day, but getting closer to 50 is definitely more fun when you have a group of kids like this.

The power to share our screens with teach other makes learning remotely simple and easy. Coding on from home on a computer is actually better than at a camp....we meet friends from all over!

Working as a team in Coding 1 is a lot of fun. What a great group! Ranging from grade 3 to grade 10...and we all just work!

The camp is rounding out its first week and registration is closed for our first session. That has not stopped parents contacting me and asking me to join late and make exceptions for their kids! We will be posting a lot of the amazing fun happening here on this facebook page. Keep visiting! I just wanted to write how proud I am of how successful this team has made this camp. Less than two months ago it was just an idea and now we are being asked to continue throughout t...he academic year. Congratulations to Alex, Austin, and France Registration for week 3 and 4 (July 20 - July 31st) is still open and I am reopening Coding Level 2 to allow more kids given the interest. Last but not least, I am looking for teachers who have a special skill set (art, cooking, science based, coding, gaming, etc...) that they can offer as an after school activity during the academic year. I am looking to expand! Peter
