COPD Warrior Foundation 10.12.2020

Walking in Freddy Beach

COPD Warrior Foundation 06.12.2020

In 2013 I was on oxygen full time, in 2017 I was challenged by myself to "Walk the Bridges" Which is about 6 kilometers, in 2018 I challenged myself to walk ev...eryday and prepare for a month long walk across New Brunswick Canada a total of 504 kilometers in 2019. In September 2019 I completed this walk. One of my greatest lessons in the past few years has been that on the other side of every challenge is your next victory. You don't have to accept the challenge but there is no growth in being status quo. You can't stay in the land of comfortable and expect a better life. Growth comes when you put action into play. 2020 is an amazing opportunity for us all to have exponential growth. Go for the gusto. You are to important and to good to just be good. God desires that you be "Great". Go ahead and jump out of your nest, you can always learn how to fly on the way down. Like the Eagle. I am in the life changing coaching business and I work with people from all over the globe helping them realize that there is a better life ahead for them. I am very good at what I do and if you are looking for evidence then look at my own life story. I am the first person to have ever reversed COPD. What doctors say is impossible. I am here to say that it is possible. Trust in the process. Believe in yourself and your inner strength. Even when you have doubts and doubters in your face remember you are stronger than you think you are. The key to victory is to never quit ever. When you quit quitting you become a winner. Your diagnosis is not your destination. #copdwarrior #copdwarriorfoundation Have an amazing year one day at a time. See more

December 31st 2019. As I reflect on this year my heart swells up with so much gratefulness. I have to go back to 2012 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 COPD or... end stage. And then 1 year later in March of 2013 I was told I would never recover and that no one has ever recovered from where I am with thus chronic disease COPD. Then I must think about my attitude that day with the news. I said I will not accept this as my destiny and that I choose ( key word is choose) to fight.. And the battle back to good health began. With the help of some great friends that came along side of me especially my beautiful wife Sharon we made some significant lifestyle changes and the journey back to good health began. Has it been easy? No way! Has it been worth it! Absolutely! These past 6.5 years since this decision I have come to realize so much about myself, healthier living and natural herbal products. I have researched so much and here I must say Thank you God for putting these amazing herbs in the garden of life for us to use and attain greater control of our lives. So the reflection of this year alone is almost unbelievable knowing where I was and how far I have come. I thank God for strength and instilling in me a desire to go farther and beyond I had ever thought possible just a few years ago. For us to be able to even think about walking across New Brunswick Canada 504 kilometers is way out there but then for me to actually do it is such an amazing miracle. I think about a friend Mike O'Brien who I told last spring my plans and he said you know you're crazy. In a loving way. And then when we were in Fredericton at the half way point and met with Mayor Mike and looked me in the eye and said " please stay crazy". Thanks Mike. I am so blessed to be here today but the most wonderful and amazing thing is that I get the opportunity to speak with people every day about my journey. Some believe some don't. Those who don't are not mine to dwell on. My focus is those who do. That's a lesson for us all. Focus on who is seeking and not those who are not ready. God is good and I have been blessed beyond measure. Watch out for #copdwarrior #copdwarriorfoundation in 2020. This isn't good English but "you ain't seen nothing yet". See more

Believe or not. Yours to decide. Mine is to reach as many as God will allow.

We have been staying in a friends cottage for a week now and in the small community on Wednesday we met up with a friend I met in the 1980s. We are always sincerely glad to meet up. His first words were congratulations on your walk. He had been following our story and knew how far I have come. He has been and is a miracle as well from a sickness in his past. We are both survivors. We are fighters. Warriors of the medical type. He encouraged me greatly with a couple things ...he said. 1. I need to be on national TV programs. 2. My God given purpose is to reach out to others. 3. Someone upstairs has been watching over me. 4. I can't quit. I won't quit. I am not arrogant, I am not bragging, I am not egotistical however I do know this. That for a person who is 30 would not attempt to walk across New Brunswick. And I will be 66 in two weeks and have damaged lungs however I said a year ago that I would and I did. My story is nothing short of an amazing miracle. I believe that Terry Fox would even be up there looking down and cheering me on. To do what I have done when juust 6 years ago I was on oxygen 24/7 then yes it is amazing what I have accomplished in such a short time let alone do it at all. #copdwarrior I do believe that God Himself has authored this wonderful story.
