If you don’t know, volunteers clean Copley Community Orchard. It is city land but volunteers do all the work including building and maintaining tables/benches, planting, mowing, watering, weeding and many other tasks. It is a wonderful space due to the care of so many people. If you wish to join us, come to any work party or event. Walking the back alleys near the orchard we have discovered many fruit trees (apples, pears, plums and figs especially). Might need to knock on a few doors and say hello.

What a great evening at the orchard!! We watered, pruned, harvested, cut grass and even sanded and stained the tables. We are still looking for people who want to help water the orchard on the warm/hot days. You do not need to do it at a certain time and there is lots of room (1.2 acres ).
