We are now a few weeks in to a major renovation and addition project right on the lake in Chestermere for some amazing clients. This long time family home carries a lot of history and we will retain some of the details and charm that can’t be recreated. A complete gut of the original post and beam structure with a substantial 2 level addition. Everything, and I mean everything, will be new with the exception of the original tongue and groove pine ceilings and part of the hip... roof line. The original cabin is now a garage and is also included in the project. With a certified and highly skilled interior designer as a client the final product will be stunning. Stay tuned for details such as floating open riser stairs surrounded by glass walls, a modern well appointed kitchen, massive family room, master bedroom with an entire wall of lake views, and beautiful millwork and design details throughout. Our first steps include substantial demolition, upper floor additions, new roofing, and the installation of two of the largest steel beams I’ve ever seen in residential construction to accommodate the lake side addition.
