It's been a nice start to December with the warmer weather here in Alberta, but did you know your paper has favourite climate conditions as well? In a high humidity climate the moisture can make your paper wavy and start to curl. Paper problems can also happen in low humidity climates as dry paper is more prone to static electricity which can lead to jamming issues. So what can you do to ensure your paper stays protected from the elements? It's best practice to leave your pap...er in it's original packaging until needed as the original packaging will be coated to help protect from moisture. It is also a good practice to store your paper in the same area as your copier so it can climatize to the temperature of the room. Have any other paper or copier questions? With the best maintenance you’ll be able to keep your office copier going strong for a long time but like all good things it will eventually come to a point where it will be time to upgrade.
