Bringing Home the Bacon. Of course Trevor’s pig will never end up as bacon; he is a treasured pet. So much so that the two are beginning to look alike. 11x14 acrylic

This painting popped up on fb today as my most popular of 2012. I can’t believe it was painted that long ago! It was one of a series of ladies wearing unexpected hats that was inspired by the frivolous hats and fascinators being sported at the Royal wedding of William & Kate. You just never know where the seed of an idea will spring from!

I'm patting myself on the back today - finally got around to updating my website! I know - probably not worthy of so much self praise but I always feel like I've accomplished something when I've taken care of the techy and marketing aspects of art! Anyhow, check it out if you have time, then my gargantuan efforts wont be in vain... :) coralieswaney.com

Something new! I've been sitting on this one for awhile, wondering if it's done... Anyhow, its a nod to all of you Canadian "snowbirds" out there who are missing your opportunity to head South to warmer climes this year. "Memories of Mexico" is 24x24 inches, in oil. (As you can see, I'm still a bit obsessed with that piece of green striped fabric!)

Charlotte lives in a studio apartment with her two poodles. She is working on her PhD in astro physics and prides herself on her fashion sense. She prefers scotch over rye. 8x8 acrylic. Charlotte, the sculpted character, is from my painted ladies series. She sports a dress painted in the style of Chagall. She is still available.

Like my work but can't spring for an original? No worries! Giclee reproductions are an affordable option. I still have available a few giclees on canvas and lots of prints on high quality paper. Here are the canvas pieces: "Selfie with a Pearl Earring" 20x20, "Chicken Chicken" 24x8, "Tricksters" 18x24, "Son of Man's Best Friend" 16x24, and "Hero Sandwich" 21x17 framed. Send me a message for pricing and other details!
