It seems sad but true! Even us small business owners need to set aside funds for taxes when we receive payment for services or product sold. A good rule of thumb is set aside 30% of your gross income into a account that will be used for paying taxes in April. Then, the great news is if you don't need quite that much for taxes, you have a nice savings account you can use for investing back into your business. Win Win!!

I have been using this 1 minute rule in my business and WOW! The rule states if you can do the job in under a minute, do it right away. So if you have something to file, don't throw it in the stack of papers on your desk... take the time to make a labelled file for it and put it away. Its been a game changer for me and I hope you give it a go!
