A change of plans means coming up with a new idea. Today using you tube, we completed step by step drawings! A Christmas tree to start then we tackled Baby Yoda. It brought good laughs this afternoon and we hope we can share our idea with you if you are looking for a fun idea for an afternoon.

MEMO: Re Community Services Program It is with regret that we are announcing that CORE Association Community Services Program will be experiencing a partial closure to services. We will be limiting the number of individuals/staffs in attendance at CORE as part of the partial closure in response to the increased numbers of COVID-19 related illnesses reported in the city. CORE will be suspending in house services starting November 30th, 2020.Those individuals, parents, guardia...ns and home supports who are affected by this partial closure will be notified and options for services will be discussed. There will be an increased effort to present on line activities for all home bound individuals to participate in. Staff will support those individuals that are requesting services. Please notify staff if any family member is experiencing any type of illness prior to staff entering your home. Staff will be required to wear masks at all times while working. COREs Management Team will re-evaluate the situation bi weekly, reviewing the numbers of COVID-19 related illness in the city. The decision to further reduce or increase services will be based on these numbers and the risks it conveys to individuals and staff alike. More information will be circulated when decisions are made. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to call. Thank you for your patience and support, Brad Connauton Manager of Adult Services. See more

Hey folks, due to COVID-19, Special Olympics Alberta has chosen to suspend all activities until Jan. 11, 2021. We stand with them in maintaining the safety of o...ur athletes, volunteers and our community. We know we'll be back better than ever at some point, but first we all need to be smart and limit potential exposure to this deadly virus. Athletes, don't forget to keep active even if you can't do it with your teammates in person right now! Check out the Healthy at Home newsletter (https://mailchi.mp/specialolympics.ab.ca/healthyathome), sign up for Zoom workouts and chats with affiliates all around the world (Special Olympics North America is a good starting point) and of course keep in touch! Share with us what you're up to these days! We miss you all but we want all of you to be healthy when we're back.
