Energy for the week ahead: The Gem. Gems, jewels and precious stones are typically found deep within a substance that’s very much unlike them. (Think of the saying a diamond in the rough.) Diamonds, like other precious stones, are also the result of pressure being applied over long periods of time. But when we come across them, we can’t help but be drawn in by their beauty. Is there something around you right now that’s applying pressure? Making you uncomfortable? Maybe something that feels totally unlike you but is changing your perspective on things? How can you flip the script on the difficulties in life right now to shift your outlook? Sometimes the most uncomfortable things in our lives can turn out to the things that shape us into more dazzling versions of ourselves.
