HNL along with the WCSHL have announced that the final between the Royals & Red Wings are cancelled and will not be played.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and all Hockey Canada sanctioned events being suspended, the Royals & Red Wings WCSHL finals have been cancelled until further notice.

The best 4 of 7 Finals kick off this weekend with two games at the Hodder in Deer Lake!

Ian Woolfrey the difference in net last evening turning asides 41 of 42 shots to lead the Royals to a 3-1 victory over the Mariners! Hunt, Stagg & Roche all potted goals to secure a spot in the WCSHL finals! Stay tuned for a finals schedule in the coming days!

Tomorrow night the PAB Mariners come to town as we head into the final weekend of the double round robin! Game time is 8pm at the Civic Centre!

Josh Smith & Daniel Noseworthy both have 5 point nights as your Royals beat the Mariners, 11-7 last evening! Smith(3), Bishop(2), Noseworthy(2), Colbourne, Fabijancic, Kavli and Woolfrey all lit the lamp in the victory. Brad Power made 49 saves to take the win!
