An Atmospheric Testing Station for the University of Manitoba This project utilized a 20' modified shipping container to create a testing facility to study climate change. This fully insulated & finished unit boasted a reinforced observation deck on the roof, data connectivity, and was built to receive all the universities testing equipment on site in Churchill, Manitoba.... We are proud to have worked with the University to help study & understand the effects of climate change. Une station d'essais atmosphériques pour l'Université du Manitoba Ce projet a nécessité un conteneur d'expédition modifié de 20 pieds pour créer une station dédiée à l'étude des changements climatiques. Cette unité entièrement isolée et complète dispose d'une plate-forme d'observation renforcée sur le toit, d'une connectivité de données et a été conçue pour recevoir tous les équipements d'essais des universités sur place à Churchill, au Manitoba. Corner Cast built a 18,560 square foot facility for the maintenance of Komatsu 830's. The structure measures 116' by 160' and includes: R-30 insulation, a 55 tons overhead crane, modular mechanical ventilation within the container foundation, CoNo Detection, Electrical supply & lighting, and much more. This facility was fabricated & delivered to site in 8 weeks!... This project is yet another example of work that was delivered on time and on budget, allowing our customer to quickly continue its operations using the new facility. Corner Cast a érigé une structure de 18 560 pieds carrés pour l'entretien de camions Komatsu 830. La structure mesure 116 pi sur 160 pi et comprend: une isolation R-30, un pont roulant de 55 tonnes, une ventilation mécanique modulaire dans la fondation du conteneur, une détection CoNo, une alimentation électrique, de l'éclairage, et bien plus encore. L'installation a été fabriquée et livrée sur le site en 8 semaines!
