Bidding will begin on July 27, 2020 @ 10:00 am. Bidding will close on August 5, 2020 @ 6:00 pm. Pick up of items will occur at Cornerstone Christian Academy on August 7, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and on August 10, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 5:00pm. Cash payment only please. ... Cornerstone Christian Academy's annual Sweets and Treats live and silent auction has been an important part of our school community for many years. It has historically provided an opportunity for us to connect with one another and the Greater Napanee community, while helping us reach our fundraising goals. Many individuals, families and local businesses have generously donated to our school throughout the years in support of Cornerstone Christian Academy for this important... event. When Ontario's schools were ordered closed following March Break, CCA followed the this directive. Staff immediately pivoted from in-class instruction in order to begin providing video instruction for students at home. The planning for our Sweets and Treats Auction was put on hold. Families had begun to collect donations, and local businesses had begun to donate items to our school for the auction. However with the emergency measures in place, and the impact of the pandemic being felt deeply by all in our community, our typical planning for this event was paused as it was impossible to predict how the coming weeks would unfold. We were scheduled to host this event at the Strathcona Paper Centre on April 17, 2020. That, of course, could not happen this year. Hence, we are hosting a modified version of our Sweets and Treats Auction online with the items that had been collected prior to the school closure! In the coming days, you will see 'sneak peaks' of some of the items that will be available to bid on when bidding opens! Please be sure to invite your friends and family to this online event!
