We are in love with Neamat’s soup over here! Neamat is from The Syrian Kitchen (she’s on fb) and made this delicious vegan soup with so much flavour! It is called Burnt Finger because you eat it so fast you burn your fingers This is on special until it runs out. ... We are open 7 days a week now! Last week I had one of those days where you realize what you’re doing is not only working but it’s important and making a difference. There were 7 of us at the restaurant that are in Jenn Sharp’s book about Sask food artisans! Almost like we planned it even though we couldn’t sit together All of these people have been such a big part of my life and of The Wandering Market. ... Over the years we have been a part of each other’s growth, lent encouragement to each other, had campfires and helping hands. For many years we butchered chickens together on Bills unbelievable forested property on the prairies which is featured in Jenn’s Book. I know that each one of us has face unbelievable challenges and heart break in the process of bringing local food to Saskatchewan and here we are...
