Deena has been having neuropathic pain in her left foot ever since her stroke a few years ago. The pain has gotten worse over time, and she has tried orthopedic shoes with no significant relief. A few years ago Bob was involved in a car accident, which left him with low back pain that got worse over time. When he came to see me, the back pain has developed down to pain and stiffness in the legs too. For the past 2 years Jody has developed abdominal pain which radiates from the right side below the rib cage. His family doctor wasn't able to come up with a diagnosis, and prescribed muscle relaxants which provided minimal relief. Judy is one of my very first patients, she came when my clinic was empty, bland, and at times cold.
