The Snowy Owl that we posted about a couple days ago has now been released back into the wild! This Snowy arrived after being found weak and trapped behind som...e fencing unable to get out. She was brought in by one of our volunteers and spent several days resting and being rehydrated. Once stronger she moved out to the flight cage and was then soon ready to be released! See more

MARKET LAYOUT AT THE LEGION... I thought you might be interested to see the layout of the market at The Legion. The only significant change so far is that we ha...ve swapped Wild Rose Farm and The Rustic Larder. Please note that there is a one-way flow through the hall to help maintain distancing protocols. We would ask you to limit your social interactions with vendors and other customers to help keep the flow moving. The Market recognises that there will probably be some teething problems, especially in the first week or two, so please bear with us. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

A little housekeeping ! After meeting with the OHS officer to clarify a few questions we have , we are a mandatory mask business. We cannot, and will not refu...se to serve you. If you cannot wear a mask into the business please give us a call to let us know what you would like and we will simply bring it outside to meet you. We have a wireless debit machine along with tap. We also have a table set up at the entrance where you must sanitize your hands, sign in with your name, the date and your time of arrival. We have been keeping track all along, but this will help take some stress off the waitress. We kindly ask for you to stay at your table unless going to the washroom (along with your mask ) Please do not go to others tables. We are still accepting cash, debit and credit for payment. We are all in this together and I kindly ask to please follows the rules to help stop the spread of covid
