Where Are They Now? Pentathlon Canada was established in the early 70's. This is a look back at the athletes, coaches and officials who made it all possible. ... LYNN SEGUIN (nee Chornobrywy) started modern pentathlon in 1976. In 1983 she was the WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION. That year she was named Canadian and Quebec female athlete of the year. Currently she lives in Saskatoon coaching fencing and working at AIDS Saskatoon. She is married to Claude Seguin they have 5 children and a grandchild on the way in December. Lynn is a pioneer in women's modern pentathlon, paving the way for todays women to compete at the Olympics.
