The next style of attachment I’d like to discuss is anxious. I’d like to remind you, no type of attachment is good or bad, just different. Attachment is influenced by our experiences. . . . Anxious attachment often results from experiences of inconsistency. If our attachment figure is sometimes available and other times unavailable our brain cannot find consistency safety with the relationship which can result in the brain responding with high levels of anxiety. Which in turn can result in becoming preoccupied or dependent on the relationship.
