Hello friends, Melissa's dad has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Given that both Melissa and her father both own their own businesses singlehandedly and are unable to work, her best friend Caitlin started a go fund me page to try and offset some of the financial burden. Please help them in this difficult time by clicking the link below

Toronto and Peel Move to Lockdown with Durham Moving to Red Zone As of Monday, November 23rd, the province is moving several regions to different levels insid...e the tiered framework for COVID-19 restrictions. For the complete provincial announcement, please click here. Here are the highlights: Toronto and Peel move into the Lockdown level; York, Halton and Hamilton remain in the Red-Control level; and Durham and Kitchener-Waterloo are moving to Red-Control level Open House Advisory Recap In-person open houses are now prohibited in Red-Control and Lockdown zones under provincial rules in Toronto, Peel, Halton, Hamilton, York, Durham and Kitchener-Waterloo. For other areas where in-person open houses are permitted, TRREB continues to strongly advise members to NOT hold in-person open houses and to continue to take advantage of virtual tools. Click here for details on TRREB's earlier direction regarding open houses. Showings by Appointment Okay Members can conduct in-person showings by appointment, following health and safety best practices, so you will still be able to provide your services to pre-qualified clients and complete transactions. This will allow us as an industry to keep the real estate market moving, while Members earn an income helping consumers achieve their home ownership dreams. Additionally, all real estate brokerage offices must continue to adhere to requirements for workplace screening and for face coverings at indoor workplaces. Measures applying to Toronto and Peel Region under Lockdown level include, but are not limited to: No indoor organized public events or social gatherings except with members of the same household; Individuals who live alone, including seniors, may consider having exclusive, close contact with one other person; Outdoor organized public events or social gatherings limited to a maximum of 10 people; Wedding services, funeral services and religious services, rites or ceremonies where physical distancing can be maintained can have up to 10 people indoors or 10 people outdoors; Retail permitted to be open for curbside pick-up or delivery only, with certain exceptions such as for supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies, hardware stores, discount and big box retailers selling groceries, beer, wine and liquor stores, safety supply stores, and convenience stores, which will be allowed to operate at 50 per cent capacity; Restaurants, bars, and food and drink establishments will only be able to provide takeout, drive-through and delivery. Indoor and outdoor dining services are prohibited; Personal care services closed; Casinos, bingo halls and other gaming establishments closed; and Indoor sports and recreational facilities, including pools, closed with limited exceptions. Schools, before and after school programs, and child care will remain open; and Post-secondary schools open for virtual learning with some limited exceptions for training that can only be provided in-person, such as clinical training or training related to a trade. To further support public health regions, the province is amending Ontario Regulation 950 under the Provincial Offences Act, allowing for a ticket to be issued for any contravention of a COVID-19 specific communicable disease class order issued by a medical officer of health. The government will also ask the Chief Justice of the Ontario Court of Justice to establish a set fine to be attached to any ticket issued for violating a section 22 order relating to COVID-19 made by a local medical officer of health. We appreciate your understanding and compliance.
