Cory Trépanier: Artist 20.11.2020

So saddened to hear today of the passing of Canadian legend Alex Trebek. Honoured that he helped unveil one of my paintings 3 years ago in Ottawa, giving me the opportunity to chat with him about the Arctic and walking along the shores of Beechey Island. Seemed like a really wonderful man. He will be greatly missed: his legacy will live on.

Auction alert! If you ever wanted to own my Mount Thor painting, here’s a great opportunity! Janet and I donated a large framed one to help raise funds for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. It’s part of a package worth $2,000 that includes a private screening at our barn theatre of our latest film, Into the Arctic: Awakening, or a private online screener if you live too far away. Only 16 days left in the auction, and the bidding has just begun at $350. Visit the link for all the details and good luck :)

Hey everyone, check this out: a chance to own an ORIGINAL work of art by the superbly talented Andi - yes, our daughter - at Hush Club Studio. Many of you are familiar with her musical talents, but she is also a creative force in the visual arts! She opened her own tattoo studio a couple of years ago, and had been adding creative inspiration to people's lives a most personal way ever since. Some of her concepts begin as physical art pieces and are now available to grace you walls. Find out all about them below, and how she using a couple of the pieces to raise proceeds for charity. And, if you're thinking of becoming a living work of art yourself sometime, she can likely help you that as well (PS: a full portfolio her work can be found on her Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/hushclubstudio )
