Another supberb weekend in the books fishing the 2020 Marina Pez Vela Open aboard GOOD DAY. Day 1 we scooped the heaviest Dorado Jackpots in both FUN & GUN boa...t divisions with a 31lb fish. Day 2 we scooped the heaviest Dorado Jackpot in the FUN division & caught the second largest Dorado in the GUN division with a 35 pounder, just 1lb behind the largest Dorado of the Day. Lines in for day 2 was at 7.30am and at 7.32am we hooked a 180-200lb Blue Marlin which was an absolutely dream start but unluckily we lost the fish after a few minutes. Fishing for us was much slower than day 1 where we caught fish non stop for most of the day (14 dorados, 8 Tuna, 1 Sail), on day 2 we had to make do with 3 dorados but still had a blast. Congrats to Dragin Fly for winning the GUN division with 2 Blue Marlin & 3 Sailfish & Double Nickle for winning the FUN division with 4 Sailfish.
