It has been one month since we closed our doors to the public - a difficult decision but one we deemed necessary due to the covid-19 pandemic. This month has given us the opportunity to evaluate the decision we had made to alter our operations. After much deliberation, we have made the decision to open the doors to our communities, ensuring we have the measures in place that the grocery industry has recommended. Starting Monday, May 4th, the stores will be open 11:00 a.m.- 6...:00 p.m. to accommodate those who prefer to do their own shopping. The first hours of the morning will be set aside to allow staff and volunteers to gather orders for those of you who wish to continue to e-mail or phone in orders. Your concerns are still important to us! Please be aware, however, that because our time for collecting these orders is limited, we may not have your order ready for same day pick up. You will be called to discuss payment when your order is ready. Again, please be sure to enter your contact information on your order. In-store shopping will be controlled. Only a certain number of people will be allowed in the store at one time. We ask that only one member of the family shop at one time to help reduce congestion. Customers will be asked to sanitize their hands upon entering the store. Aisles will be marked to ensure one-way shopping, and above all, social distancing will be enforced. Please gather your needs in a timely fashion. Remember there will be people waiting for their turn to enter. Please be patient as we adjust AGAIN. We will take one week at time.

To say that this week has been a "difficult one" is an understatement. After decades, we have been forced to change the way we do business for an unknown period. Every day brings new challenges - as with every one dealing with this pandemic. I hope that you will be patient as we do our best to keep you fed. When emailing an order, please be sure to have your FULL NAME and PHONE NUMBER in your email.... Deliveries will continue for seniors or those in need but we will need your FULL ADDRESS. Too much time is being wasted trying to track down this type of information. Initially we had set the cut off for email orders - for same day delivery to 3:00 pm. We are finding we can not possibly fill all the orders even with that cut off. You will receive a call when your order has been filled. It may not be on the same day but we will do our best for the next day. Do not call to see if we got your email. We will now confirm it as we print it. Remember to have your orders complete. The days of grabbing a few things are over for now. We can not possibly be processing multiple orders for the same customer every day or two. These email orders are meant to get your families through the week. To get through this, we will all have to adapt TOGETHER.

Please note that due to the high volume of emailed orders, all orders being placed after 3:00 pm will be delivered the following business day. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to the magnitude of the current pandemic of COVID-19, Costa’s Foodmarket and Costa’s Foodateria have made the difficult decision to change their methods of operations in order to protect the residents of Terrace Bay and Schreiber as well as their employees. The goal of this change in service operations is to do our part as an organization to stop the spread of this pandemic, while still providing the necessities to the communities that we serve. Arranged curb-side pickup will be available once your order is ready. Delivery will remain for seniors. When emailing your order, please take the time to make your order THOROUGH and COMPLETE! Please refrain from doing add-ons or multiple small orders throughout the week! Include your phone number on the order so that we can call for payment and pickup arrangements. We are a gathering center for our communities and it is for this very reason that we choose to be proactive as opposed to being reactive.
