Our Wednesday Web Worship is up! Today we commemorate St. Hilda of Whitby, a great example of a strong and faithful woman who had a great impact on Christianity in England. As we remember her, may we remember the women who have helped shape our faith lives, and give thanks.
Our mid-week Web Worship is now up! Rev. Margaret leads us through a half-hour service of prayer and reflection. Please remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel - we only need 7 more to reach 100! https://youtu.be/HJpLgUh-avo
On Sunday we'll be hearing the Parable of the Talents (Matt 25:14-30). Are we willing to take risks for the sake of the gospel of love? Or are we paralyzed by fear and anxiety? Are we open to the new ways God comes to us and works through us? Let's explore these themes together and more as we worship at 10am, both in-person on online.
If you're not able to attend or watch a Remembrance Day service today, you might consider joining me in this week's Web Worship. In this 25 min service we take time to remember those we've lost, giving thanks for the sacrifices made for our freedom, and offer prayers for peace. https://youtu.be/R5UcKdNdM6E
It's a very special service this Sunday. Not only is it the final week in our sermon series on Revelation, it is also the Feast of All Saints. During the service we will be naming those we've lost in our faith community this past year. There will be an opportunity to light a candle for a loved one as part of the prayers of the people. Candles provided for in-person worship, folks online should plan to have a candle near them. Hope you can join!
Donations through E-Transfer at [email protected] are welcomed.
This Sunday, we will remember. We will honour and give thanks to those who sacrificed so much for our freedom. We remember God's unfailing love to us in these difficult times. Join us in-person or online at 10am on Sunday - Rev. Leon Burke preaching.
Friends, please do click 'subscribe' on our YouTube channel. We need 27 more to get to 100 and there are benefits to hitting that milestone (including getting more coherent url's to our posts). It only takes a second! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGqX-1sIMKZt1y6l4MsAi6Q
Our mid-week Web Worship is now up on our YouTube channel. Today we commemorate St. Simon & St. Jude, patron saints of lost causes. Through our prayer may God's Spirit strengthen our sense of being members of God's beloved family. https://youtu.be/uzuPPqNdyUw

Sunday's worship includes the reading of a challenging text from Revelation (14:6-13) that includes images of fire & brimstone & the fall of the 'Whore of Babylon.' There are themes here we probably find offensive - but how would John's original audience have heard it? And is there something in its message that truly is 'good news' for us? Let's explore this together as the Fall's preaching series on the Book of Revelation continues. Join us for live worship at 10am in-person or on Facebook Live - Or watch the service later on YouTube. Hope you can join!
Get out your candles! Please join me in this service of prayer as we give thanks for the many blessings our Loving Creator has poured out upon us. I sing one of may fav songs in this one, '10,000 Reasons'. https://youtu.be/Jpxcm6DERvk
