Spring 2016 and we are back to check things out. The deck that we built last year has sunk in spots and needs to be re-leveled. that sucks but fairly easy to do. Ripped the walls off the bedrooms and like a bad episode of the property brothers we lost the kitchen. The wiring for the whole cottage needs to be redone. I almost had a heart attack when I seen what was behind the walls. Nails right through wires. Amazing there was not a fire. All that I can say about the wiring is... idiots. So the focus this year will be the wiring and the bedrooms. Kitchen will have to wait. Safety First. Will post pictures of the current wiring soon.

Well, winter is coming not too much is going on at the cottage right now. We are on the lookout for a new wood stove and looking forward to the spring so that we can start to renovate the inside. :) We will be planning a barbecue next summer and hope that we can arrange it so that most of our trailer friends can make it over to see the place and maybe catch a fish or 2.

Got the new awning up and working this weekend. It will help on those rainy days :)

Another good weekend at the cottage with Tim, Julie and Louise. We were able to get the patio door installed. Still have some trim to to but at least we can get to the back deck without going around the cottage.
