We recently helped a family that told us that they had planned to take on the personality traits that they loved most about their dog in order to honour him and his life. I loved this thought so much that it got me thinking about how I could honour my Jersey by being more like her. She was so happy and always tried to find a way to be happy even when things were tough. She was very passionate and lived her life to the fullest. She found joy in the smallest tasks. She loved everyone she met and always saw the good in people. How could you be more like your dog or cat?

So adorable! We encourage families to create a bucket list for their pets that are preparing to cross rainbow bridge. We believe that it helps the family with the grieving process. It can also make the memories that a family has of their pet's last days good ones. I will always cherish the moments that Jersey and I shared during her last week.
