The City is currently accepting applications for a community grant that will provide funding to organizations that offer treatment services for domestic violenc...e. This grant opportunity is for up to $30,000 annually for organizations that provide treatment services to offenders, victims and children exposed to domestic violence. Exciting news from the province yesterday... hot tubs and steam rooms can re-open! We are working on a plan to be able to re-open ours safely, complete with patron capacities and new cleaning protocols. Please stay tuned for more information and a re-open date next week.

Just a heads up that the postponed shred event will be taking place on September 12th for residents to securely dispose of their personal documents and files along with any electronic waste.

Applications are now being accepted for a one-time Community Recovery Grant to deliver locally-driven preventative social services and programs to support COVID-19 recovery.

With another school year starting next week, drivers are reminded to watch their speed and remember there are three designated school zones in Spruce Grove (wit...h a maximum speed limit of 30 km/hour). They are located on: King Street adjacent to Brookwood School and Woodhaven Middle School; Pioneer Road near the Prescott Learning Centre; and Greystone Drive between Grove Drive and Greenwood Drive.
