We must continue to do our part to stop the spread of #COVID19: Wear a mask in all indoor settings and where you can’t stay 2 metres away from others Limit outings for essential purposes Support businesses in a COVID-safe way Avoid social gatherings

Just a few weeks ago, Lisa reached out to me requesting a wheelchair swing for her son Meric who has been diagnosed with batten's disease. Staff and I were honoured to work hard work and research our options and make it happen. Today, for the first time, Meric got to go on the swing at Lions park! I want to thank Lisa and Uyen for their incredible advocacy. Special shout out for staff members Jeff, Doug, Kristin, Andrew.... Milton, I present to you, our first wheelchair swing : Stacey Newman PS: We are all 6 feet apart, with the family in the centre. Masks were taken off just for this picture.

NEW PXO COMING Great news for residents who live near Chretien street! A pedestrian study was recently completed on Chretien Street at the pathway just south of Hatt Court during the a.m. and p.m. peak periods that also included school entrance and dismissal times. ... It has been determined that a Pedestrian Crossover (PXO) is warranted at this location. It is our intention to have this PXO installed and open by the end of November although this is weather dependent. If it can’t be installed this year, it will be done first thing in the Spring. Many thanks to our neighbour Marco A. who requested the traffic study!
