MINDFUL MONDAY Practicing Mindfulness may be able to help in your journey towards becoming a healthier you. Being mindful means being aware of your thoughts, emotions, and how you’re feeling both physically and mentally. Mindfulness is a form of meditation with an important aspect to acceptance. It means being aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to think or feel in any moment. By being more mindful and aware of your thoughts and feelings you may be able to teach yourself to live in the moment and enjoy life as it happens.

Setting daily intentions is one of the most powerful visualization techniques you can do. It is so easy to roll out of bed and wander through your day with no direction or drive. Daily intentions make you laser focused, put you in a positive head space, and commit you to your goals. What is your intention for today?
It’s normal to want validation from others ~parents, boss, friends~ but it is more important when you can validate yourself. Self validation is a skill that takes practice. To begin, try to do or say one self validating thing per day and then after you’ve got that down strive for two and so on.
Love Language is something we talk a lot about in couples counseling. Do you know your love language? I love how these give suggestions of things to try and also things to avoid.
Monday is a great day to set your intentions for the week. When you are intentional about something, your focus is in the moment. What would you like to be intentional about this week?
