Raise your hand if you pooped yourself! A great question came out of this weeks Wondering Wednesday Q&A! What to do I do if my baby is constantly pooping in the middle of the night? Start to be more aware of when, and where your baby drops a deuce (guys I need adult conversation again ). Babies will often get in the habit of pooping in the same spot of the house. Mine like the bath and the shower, conveniently. They may even play with a certain toy. Before yo...u start your bedtime routine, take them there and say poop. Sign language is also a great tool! And guys, remember that diapers are made for 12 hours of protection! You only want to change their diaper in the night if it’s necessary, let them sleep #poopproblems

Bye Bye Binky Blog!! Last week on The Blog, we learned all about sleep props! I discussed the many great benefits of the pacifier. While I believe it can be an amazing tool, it can also become a huge problem if it starts to impact your babies sleep! In fact, most sleep consultants won’t work with you if you want to continue to offer the soother (bullshit if you ask me!) When this happens, you may want to consider getting rid of the pacifier! Head to the link below and check... out The Blog, to read about why, and more importantly HOW to say BYE BYE Binky!! What’s your take on the pacifier?! Did your babies use one?? https://www.countingsheepconsulting.com/post/bye-bye-binky

Did anyone else fall in love with their breastfeeding pillow?! Legit, think it was my favourite baby item! I brought this pillow with me everywherewhen I was a first time Mama! A big reason for that was because Georgia, my first born, came one month early and was less than 5lbs. A lot of people were nervous about holding her, understandably. The pillow made everyone feel so much more comfortable laying her on their lap. Me included! And obviously it made breastfeeding a lo...t easier! I still have the pillow but I don’t use it for nursing. Now, I use it to read in bed! I also sometimes sleep with it between my legs, which provides incredible back support! (According to my chiropractor, who has the exact same pillow!) What was your favourite must have item?! See more

New Blog Sleep Props: The Good and the Bad In my experience, sleep props are the main reason parents struggle with their babies sleep. Every sleep plan I’ve created involves removing a prop to teach the child how to sleep independently. ... So I’ve written a short blog to help you navigate what props to use, and what to avoid, to help your child sleep better https://www.countingsheepconsulting.com//sleep-props-the-g
