COVID UPDATE: Thank you to all our amazing visitors for following the strict rules of the last several weeks. As of February 16th, Ottawa has moved to the Orange zone! What this means for the Play Parks is that playdates with friends and family from other households may now be booked again. Our booking site has been updated for you to access the "Add to your appointment" options. Thank you again for your patience and compliance. Thankfully it seems our system changes have been successful! Those of you who have purchased memberships may begin using your code today for all bookings. For those with Gift Certificates or outstanding Prepaid Packages, you will need to use the links in the email sent yesterday in order to book your remaining visits.

A couple housekeeping items: Please make extra effort to pay attention to your dogs during group visits and after dark visits. This is the easiest time to miss a "movement". Water has been turned off at the Carp location now so please bring your own water to both parks until the spring. ... We hope that you will continue to use the park regularly during the colder months...the pups still need to run!

BOOKING SYSTEM UPDATE - Effective December 28th In order to attempt a smooth transition to our new booking options and membership features, we will be updating our system. 1. Outstanding PREPAID PACKAGES AND GIFT CERTIFICATES:... If you have a prepaid package or a gift certificate with visits remaining, you will receive an email today with a booking link. Please watch for this email as you will need to use the link to schedule any remaining visits. 2. As of December 28th, our new booking options will be available and those with memberships may begin using their membership codes to receive the 20% discount on all bookings. We are hoping for a smooth transition with minimal confusion. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

ATTENTION METCALFE CLIENTS: The water level in the tank is getting quite low. Since overnight temperatures will soon be dropping below zero, we will not be refilling the tank at this time. Please plan to bring water for your dogs until the tank gets refilled in the spring.... Water at the Carp park will remain on until temperatures drop.

We are SUPER EXCITED about the growth of our clientele since opening the Metcalfe location in June. Please share our page with your dog owning/dog loving friends to continue to spread the word!

REMINDER: We all enjoy a clean, safe place for our dogs to play. Please remember to pay attention to your pups at all times and pick up poop immediately. It is easy to miss from time to time especially during a play date or for those with multiple dogs. We can all help by carrying bags (provided at the entrance) at all times and picking up what we see regardless of whether it was from our dog or not.... Thank you to N.S. for going above and beyond early Sunday morning in Metcalfe! We know there are many visitors that help in this regard and it is greatly appreciated!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Carp Play Park has some poison ivy growing along the sides of the Play Park under the cedars. We have been attempting to treat with natural products as we don't want to use RoundUp where dogs are sniffing but it's not super effective. It is not harmful to your dog. Please be sure to keep your distance while walking the perimeter of the park.

EXCITING NEWS FOR SOCIAL DOGS! We are pleased to announce that "PLAY DATE" bookings are available again. We request that all people from separate households practice 2m/6ft distancing during your visit. PLAY DATE means 3 or 4 owners with a maximum of 10 dogs.... When booking your Play Date, please remember to include the NAMES OF ALL PEOPLE that will be at your Play Date. We hope all the pups are excited to reunite with their pals!

After a lot of hard work and much anticipation, we are excited the Metcalfe Park will open on Monday. IMPORTANT NOTE: Water for your dogs Due to a problem with a supplier, we will not have drinking water available for your dogs this week. The problem should be resolved within a week to 10 days. Updates will be posted here as usual. In the meantime PLEASE BRING A BOWL AND WATER FOR YOUR DOG. Sorry for this inconvenience. We hope that you are able to check out our new park soon!
