COVID19 Update for Country Club, Bear Creek and West County Animal Clinics As we navigate this rapidly changing environment, we must implement some new protocols with public, staff and patient safety in mind. Please do not visit our hospital if you are experiencing ANY symptoms of illness. We want to continue to provide excellent care for your pets, and in order to do so, we need to stay healthy. To limit exposure, ONLY ONE PERSON PER PATIENT will be allowed to accompany... your pet to their visit. Please do not visit our clinics within 2 weeks of ANY travel without giving us prior notification so we can determine if it is safe to visit. If your pet is sick or needs immediate attention and you are not well, please call the clinic and inform us so that we can determine how best to safely help your pet. Please be patient with us, as chances are we are going to be running with less staff. We've also instructed our own staff to stay home if unwell in order to better protect you. As a result wait times may be longer than usual. It is still unknown exactly what role animals play in the spread of the disease. What we do know is that they may act as a fomite- so if you are sick, sneeze or cough near your pet, the virus particles may live on their fur, just as it would on any other surface. We promised to keep our clients updated on the pet food supply. Things are changing rapidly and although our supply has not yet been affected, the potential exists that it may be disrupted. Please have 1 MONTH SUPPLY OF YOUR PETS FOOD AS WELL AS A 1 MONTH SUPPLY OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS. We are advising all our clients to place these orders this week. Please allow us a couple days to fill your prescription as we are experiencing much higher requests than normal. Home delivery of pet foods is available to all clients of Bear Creek, West County and Country Club Animal Clinics through our online store so long as you have an address that accepts deliveries. Online orders can also be picked up at BEAR CREEK ANIMAL CLINIC ONLY. If you do not already have an account, go to www.bearcreekanimalclinic.ca and click on ‘Shop’ which will divert you to MyVetStore where you can create one. The online store is more likely to operate normally even in the event that we are forced to close our doors, so please take advantage of it. We are trying to be cautious enough to keep our community, clients, staff and patients safe and still be able to provide excellent medical care for your pets. Thank you for your cooperation!
